Dennis Wayo
Research Fellow, Nazarbayev University, Kazakhstan
Dennis, a polymath who is currently working as a research assistant at the National Laboratory Astana, is conducting a theoretical research study on using quantum dot-inspired solid-state photons upconversion to drive electrolytic cells for water splitting and CO2 reduction. Focusing on the influence of photons on the development of qubits, he possesses the ability to create photonic qubits to enhance scalability in quantum computing. Dennis holds an HND in Mechanical Engineering from Tamale Technical University, a BSc in Petroleum Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, an MSc in Petroleum Engineering from Nazarbayev University, and a PhD Candidate at the Universiti of Malaysia Pahang. His present interest is to manipulate photons not only to enhance photocatalytic processes but to also build qubits to ensure error mitigation and fault tolerance.
