Dr. David Cassimiro M.Sc in Industrial Engineering, specializing in technical-economic feasibility studies for offshore wind farms. He has been a wind energy specialist for 9 years, with 7 years dedicated to offshore wind. Interested in the area of renewable energy, he has developed research on the offshore wind sector with important companies and institutions such as Petrobras, the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation and the Government of the State of Rio Grande do Norte. He worked as a Consultant in the Brazil Energy Program (BEP), funded by the UK Government Prosperity Fund, and in the Strategic Partnerships for the Implementation of the Paris Agreement (SPIPA) project, funded by GIZ, where he developed studies on offshore wind for the State of Espírito Santo in Brazil. He participated in technical missions on offshore wind energy in Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium and Denmark, visiting companies in the offshore wind sector, ports, government agencies and participated in events related to the offshore wind sector.
