Sabrina Aghazada

Ms. Sabrina Aghazada is a PhD student from Afghanistan specialising in Microalgae Biotechnology under the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She completed her Bachelor of Science and Master's degrees in Sustainable Systems. Her research focuses on microalgae biotechnology, particularly Euglena-based biofuel production and sustainable renewable energy applications.

Since 2022, she has served as a Research Assistant with Galderia Co., Ltd., Japan, contributing to the Galderia project. Since 2025, she has also been a Research Assistant at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, working on a project related to seismic risk perception and community preparedness for earthquake early warning systems. Previously, she was a Lecturer in the Faculty of Science at Jawzjan University, Afghanistan, from 2014 to 2021.
