Mélanie DUCROS is currently working on the topic of renewable energy and hydrogen with both the French-Australian Indo Pacific Centre For Energy Transition (FACET) the Victorian Hydrogen Hub (VH2). She is a process engineer and has extensive experience managing complex international projects in multicultural environments. She has led initiatives integrating innovative technologies into climate change adaptation strategies. Her work spans renewable energy, environmental impact, water-energy-food nexus, solar desalination, new fuels and hydrogen applications, fostering collaboration between research, industry, and governments. Originally from New Caledonia, she is deeply committed to addressing climate change in the Indo-Pacific region. She is the board member in charge of Energy for the French Australian Women in Business Network (FAWIB) and the regional lead for Victoria for the Australian charity People For Nature as a volunteer.
