Title: Is there a Role for Flow Batteries in Australia's Energy Transition?

Glenne is an energy sector advisor with an extremely broad knowledge of the Australian energy market and business development in the sector. His previous role as the Manager of the Victorian Government’s New Energy Technology Strategy included business development and client management. Through this work, he has developed a large and valuable network of contacts in the sector. Glenne is currently the Corporate Secretary for the Yarra Energy Foundation, Secretary for the Victorian Branch of the Australian Institute of Energy.

His experience spans 40 years in the Victorian energy sector and his previous roles have included: 20 years of power station design, project management, and construction; several years of health and safety and risk management consulting; and 17 years of economic development facilitation, predominantly in the energy sector, with the Victorian Government. His recent or current clients include international wind, energy storage, and biofuel companies and an Australian solar developer.

Glenne has worked in the consulting companies HAZCON, GHD Australia, and Worely Parsons New York. He has a Diploma of Electrical Engineering, a Bachelor of Engineering Electro/Mechanical, and a Masters of Business Administration – Technology Management.
