Ben Vaughan

ANFF Hub Facility Manager, University of Newcastle, Australia

Dr Ben Vaughan is the Australian National Fabrication Facility (ANFF) Manager within the Newcastle Hub of the Materials Node at the University of Newcastle. With his team, Dr Vaughan helps researchers and industry develop new technologies. Dr Vaughan completed his undergraduate degree in Microelectronic Engineering in 2000 with honours, and after working in communications engineering for several years, he completed his PhD in Physics in 2011, focused on the large-scale fabrication of organic solar cells. Dr Vaughan has led all the Centre for Organic Electronics large-scale, printed solar demonstration projects and is currently supporting Kardinia Energy in their commercialization of printed solar.
