Dr. Alexander O. Mosqueda is a professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Technology and serves as the Director of the Center for Energy Research and Technology of the Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology. His research interests include waste valorization, thermochemical technologies, and energy and resource recovery. Returning from his graduate studies at Tokyo Institute of Technology, Dr. Mosqueda has led several government funded research projects in the Philippines and uses his expertise in community initiatives by providing alternative power sources. He currently works
