Muhammad Zubair

Dr Muhammad Zubair is a research fellow at the ARC CoE for Green Electrochemical Transformation of Carbon Dioxide (GETCO2), Griffith University, Gold Coast campus. His research is focused on establishing structure/activity relationships for electrocatalytic nanomaterials essential in advancing sustainable biomass upgrading and clean energy generation. His PhD work at UNSW has led to strategic collaborations with several prestigious institutions around the globe, such as the NREL, ETH Zurich, Technical University of Berlin and ANSTO. He has extensive experience leading multiple applied research projects in collaboration with UNIDO to utilize waste biomass resources and promote the development of waste biomass gasifiers for generating sustainable energy.
